Methodology
The TEST methodology is based on the adoption and transfer of a soft technology. The steps for implementing the TEST methodology in the selected companies follow the learning cycle, also known as the Deming scheme in accordance with ISO standards (plan, do, check, act).
To analyze (LCA) and reduce (Eco-design) the environmental footprint of products and services throughout their life cycles, both upstream and downstream.
Includes the exploration of new eco-efficient technologies. It identifies the causes of inefficiency, proposes appropriate solutions, sets objectives/targets for an industrial unit and defines a scorecard for one or more environmental/energy programmes.
Stimulating significant or radical changes in the way products and services are delivered to minimize resource use and environmental impacts.
Environmental and/or energy policy tools in line with international standards based on a systems approach.
Monitor actual resource efficiency performance by creating an information system that analyzes data on energy, water or material consumption in correlation to the relevant drivers.
Integration of all aspects of sustainable development relating to social, environmental and economic dimensions into the company’s operations and strategy.
